The Final Part: Shatter Me

It’s been three long years and the couples are back at it again. You would think they would grow up after three years right? Wrong. Drake never seems to get things right even when he thinks he’s doing the right thing. The one person who always sets him straight is done with him.

“Don’t you think I have my own fucking problems yet I’m still trying to help you!? So you know what Drake? Fuck you,” Mere grabbed her stuff and left.

He made huge mistakes but he thinks that every time he screws up Nicki is supposed to forgive him but she just might be done.

“I’m sick of the chances Aubrey. I’m so sick of going through this time after time with you. I’m almost at my breaking point and I can’t take this anymore. Our family can’t take this anymore. Do you even realize what your actions caused to this family? Look at us Aubrey! Is this the kind of family you want!?”

Nicki never realized that every time Drake screws up she ends up screwing up in return. It goes back and forth but she never thought about how it may backfire on her.

She instantly went silent as everyone gasped.  “Cat got your tongue? How would you feel if I was out here fucking Jaymie, Nebby, or Lahel? How the fuck would you feel!?” My voice kept rising. I couldn’t stop the amount of hate I felt when I looked at her.

They never realized how it was affecting their children especially Mylan.

“No, I’m not gonna stay out of it. I’m not fourteen anymore. I’m about to be an adult so when are you gonna start acting like one?” She crossed her arms.

“You better remember who you’re talking to,” Nicki warned her.

“I’m not sure if I’m talking to my mom or older sister,” Mylan eyed her.

Mylan is caught in between her parent’s drama and she’s trying to keep together the family she once created. She went from hating her dad to hating her mom. They just keep going back and forth making her anger shift. She’s overwhelmed and is unknowingly following in one of her aunt’s footsteps.

“I know that but I’m getting scared for Mylan. I’m looking at her but all I see is Nae nine years ago,” I shook my head. I can’t get that image out of my head.

Blake is known as the queen of mind games when it comes to two of her favorite people. How long did she think she could do this until it blew up on her?

“I never thought that I would see the day when you turned out worse than me but I would have never done half the shit that you did. Grow the fuck up Blakelynn!”

She wants to do whatever and whoever she wants but she doesn’t realize what she could end up losing in the process.

“You’ve been hopping in between Mere and Nae for years. They’re both sick of it and it looks like you lost both of them.”

Mere always puts everyone’s problems over her own. She can’t stop no matter how many people tell her to stop.

“You’re so busy taking care of everyone else but when are you gonna take care of yourself? The only person you need to be concerned about right now is you,” she told me.

It seems like drama just keeps coming and it won’t stop especially when she got paid a visit by one of Blake’s little friends.

“Don’t you have a fiancé you should be worrying about? Do everyone a favor and focus on him.”

“And if I don’t?” I straightened up.

She’s completely done with all the mind games that Blake has been playing over the last year. It’s tiring and she’s sick of Blake thinking she could have anything and anyone she wanted whenever she wanted. She was manipulative and used things against Mere.

“Not a good enough answer,” she shook her head.

“Blakelynn,” I gave her a look. She walked closer to me causing me to walk backwards until my back hit the wall. She caged me in and let out a slow smirk.

“I guess the roles have changed huh? Push me away Mere. I dare you,” she used me against me.

Cassie wants to put on this perfect role of everything being fine when there’s more going on than she’s letting on. Shad can see past this but she continues to build her walls up around him.

“If you were feeling some type of way you would tell me right?” He eyed me. “I’m not trying to ruin your perfect marriage. I just wanna know if you still feel something and then I’ll leave you alone,” he held his hands up in surrender.

It seems like Blake and Nicki have the same person turned against them. Only one can put both of them in their place.

“I honestly don’t need to answer that and I’m not going to. I’ll tell you why when I know who you are because I don’t know this girl standing in front of me. My best friend wouldn’t fuck with someone’s feelings. Maybe you and Blake have a lot more in common than you realize,” she turned and went to grab a water bottle.

Then there is a death that messes everyone up. It causes people to break down, point fingers, and blame themselves. The four part finale will take shots at your heart.

“I need back up. There’s been a fatal car crash on Metropolitan Avenue. Two are dead,” the officer spoke.
