Chapter 94: Everyone Knows

Drake

“Oh y’all didn’t know? I thought Nicki would’ve told you guys that she was fucking Daven.” Jaymie crossed her arms. The room went silent and all eyes went on them.

“Shit.” Nicki mumbled. I felt anger rushing through me as I eyed her. She looked guilty and that automatically confirmed my thoughts.

“You’re fucking Daven?” I asked slowly but my voice was filled with anger. I looked at her and she looked speechless. “Cat got your tongue? How would you feel if I was out here fucking Jaymie, Nebby, or Lahel? How the fuck would you feel!?” My voice kept rising. I couldn’t stop the amount of hate I felt when I looked at her.

“Aubrey,” she started but I shook my head. I couldn’t even look at her the same again. Out of all people to be fucking it had to be that nigga?

“Shut the fuck up!” I raised my voice. I rarely yelled at her but I couldn’t control myself right now.

“Look I don’t think you need to raise your voice at her,” Daven spoke up as if his opinion was needed.

“And just what are you supposed to do?”

“I just think you should show some respect to your wife,” he shrugged.

“Obviously her being my wife didn’t matter to you. You don’t know shit about being an adult because you act like a fucking kid,” I snapped at him. I already hated him from what he did to Jaymie so adding this made things worse.

“I ain’t no fucking ki-,” he started but I already swung and he fell to the ground. He stood and glared at me. “I’m not trying to fight you,” he shook his head.

“It ain’t like you could do shit.” This nigga wasn’t nearly as strong as I am.

“You better watch who you’re talking to,” he warned me.

“That was for Jaymie,” I looked back at her. She stood at the door and gave me a concerned look. She knew how far I could take this. “Now this is for fucking my wife.” I swung again and this time I didn’t stop. All I saw was red.

“Aubrey!” I heard Nicki yell but I wasn’t about to stop.

“Aubrey stop before you kill him!” I heard Nessa say.

“Aubrey!” I felt her and Mere trying to pull me off but it wasn’t about to work this time.

“Bro I think you’ve gone far enough.” Shad tried to stop me.

“Aubrey stop! Remember what you said about Carson!” Jaymie called out. I stopped swinging and looked at him.

“Damn,” I heard Jessi chuckle.

“He did good,” Nae laughed.

“You’re lucky because if it wasn’t for Carson, your ass would be dead,” I told him and got up.

“Aubrey!” Nicki cut her eyes at me before bending down to check on him.

“I got something better than a separation. We can get a divorce and solve all of this. This nigga been wanting you for nine years. You know what? He can have you because I’m done.” I turned and walked away.

 Blake

“So this is awkward.” Jaymie still stood at the door. She turned and looked at Nae. “Are you ready or did you want to beat her ass a little bit more?” She looked between us.

“I don’t think Mere will allow me. I’ll see you later Mere,” Nae huffed and left with Jaymie and Nessa. Mere looked at me and let out a sigh.

“Come here.” She grabbed my hand and helped me up. We ended up walking to the girl’s suite and she sat me on the bed. She went into the bathroom and came out with a first aid kit. “She could’ve done a lot worse,” she mumbled.

“She’s crazy,” I rolled my eyes.

“She’s not crazy Blakelynn. She wouldn’t have gone that far if you didn’t accuse her of being on drugs. That was the thing that set her off.” She put some ointment on my cheek.

“Yeah I went a little far but I was mad. She pissed me off and I tried to say anything to piss her off,” I shrugged.

“You can’t just do childish shit like that. Nae did that to me three years ago and I beat her ass. Now look at us,” she chuckled.

“Yeah y’all seem really close,” I said dryly.

“She was lying,” she told me what I was already thinking.

“Sure she was. She seemed pretty damn confident.” She stopped putting it on my cheek and looked at me.

“Just like you knew what to say to tick her off, she did too. She didn’t replace you Blakelynn. I promise you that,” she assured me.

“I just figured after that night she was right. You probably got fed up with my bullshit and,” I started but she cut me off.

“All done.” She put the kit up.

“Mere,” I sighed.

“We’re not talking about that. I have to go check on Aubrey and make sure he’s okay,” she spoke and tried to walk out but I grabbed her arm.

“We don’t have to talk about that but we need to talk about the tattoo,” I reminded her.

“What’s there to say about it? It was a drunken mistake and that’s exactly what we can say,” she shrugged.

“A drunken mistake?” I raised a brow.

“Yes that’s exactly what it was. Now if you don’t mind, I have someone else to check on.” She turned and walked out.

Jaymie

“You’re gonna get fat one day,” Nessa joked. I shook my head with a giggle.

“I haven’t yet so I highly doubt it.”

“I can’t believe you told everyone.” Nae looked at me a little shocked. I guess she didn’t expect me to do it.

“I never liked her and Daven already pissed me off. When Mere told me, I figured that Aubrey had a right to know. I know your loyalty is to Nicki but mine is to Aubrey,” I shrugged.

“So are you ever gonna tell him about this little guy?” Nae motioned to Carson in her arms. He was eyeing my ice cream a little too much.

“I don’t know,” I sighed. I was but after everything went down, I can’t deal with all of that drama. He could’ve gotten with anyone but the fact that it was Nicki disturbed me. Not to mention the fact that she’s married, well at least for now.

“Well everyone knows that your back.”

“I’m not back anywhere. I’m just here for the party and then I’m heading back to Cali. Fuck Daven and Nicki to be honest.”

“Mm!” Carson kept reaching for my ice cream. I chuckled and let him eat some.

“He’s such a chubby baby.” I looked at my son. He’s the best thing that ever happened to me. He’s my world and I refuse to let Daven hurt him.

“Why did you and Daven break up again?” Nessa questioned.

“He thought I was cheating on him,” I said simply.

“Why would he think that?”

“Because I kept coming in late at night. I would tell him that I was at my dad’s house but he stopped believing me. I was at my dad’s house. He needed someone to be there for him after my mom’s death. I cheated on him nine years ago so he just thought I was back to my old habits and I was lying to him.” I honestly couldn’t stand a bone in my parent’s bodies but we buried the hatched four years ago.

“Your dad hates Daven,” Nessa laughed.

“For a good reason of course. If he wants to meet Carson then he’s gonna have to go through my dad.” I was not letting him into my son’s life that easily. “So I see you finally fought Blake. You’ve been talking about doing that for the past year,” I pointed out.

“I didn’t plan to fight her. Just because I want to fight someone doesn’t mean I’m going to. She just made me snap. Drugs? Do I look like I’m on drugs to you?” She rolled her eyes.

“You could’ve done a lot worse. I’ve seen you fight  people but you barely touched her.” I saw a couple of scratches but barely any bruises.

“I could’ve done a lot worse but she got lucky. I just can’t beat her up like she’s some random chick. She’s still Blake but she definitely deserved far worse,” she nodded slowly.

“I don’t see why everyone is being such a bitch to you. They should be thanking you honestly.” That’s why I didn’t fuck with some of them like that. I’m very selective on who I hang out with to avoid drama.

“I wish Mere didn’t pull me off when she did,” Nae huffed.

“You would’ve broken that poor girl,” Nessa gave Nae a knowing look.

“And? I swear she gets on my nerves. Mere’s too nice to her.”

“I’m shocked Mere’s even still talking to her. I wouldn’t be if I was in Mere’s shoes,” I added in.

“Neither would I. My sister is way too forgiving but that’s a quality that I love and hate about her,” Nessa nodded in agreement.

Nicki

“Are you okay?” I asked Daven after I helped him clean up the damage Aubrey did. He really hurt Daven. There were a lot of bruises and blood.

“I’ll be fine. I can’t believe that everyone knows,” he sighed.

“My marriage is ruined.” I felt tears rush down my face. I don’t know why I thought I could hide this forever.

“I never meant to ruin your marriage Onika. I’m sorry for all of this,” he apologized.

“It’s not your fault Daven. Jessi is right. I’m a married woman and I should’ve known better. I don’t know what I was thinking,” I shook my head.

“I can’t believe she’s back,” he mumbled.

“I don’t think she ever left. I don’t know where she was but she wasn’t in Germany.” I already didn’t like Jaymie and now that she decided to announce my business, I hate her. She knew all of the drama it would cause but of course she wouldn’t care.

“Who’s Carson? That was the only reason he stopped fighting me,” Daven scrunched his brows up in confusion.

“I don’t know,” I shrugged. I’ve heard the name a couple of times but never thought much of it.

“Everyone just has to get through the birthday party and hopefully things will go smoothly for Alexis and Brayden’s sake.” I nodded and looked down at my hands. I knew that this would blow up in my face but I didn’t expect to feel this way. “Maybe he’ll forgive you,” Daven tried to cheer me up.

“I wouldn’t even forgive myself. I made him feel like he was in the wrong the entire time but it was really me. We both went back and forth but we should have never started this.” I turned and looked at Daven.

“I completely agree with you on that. We just run to each other when we need comfort. Shit went down between Jaymie and me. Then you and Drake got into it. I just didn’t expect to fall in love with you,” he nodded slowly.

“I didn’t either but I’m never gonna love you like the way I love Aubrey. We both know that,” I bluntly spoke.

“And I’m never gonna love you like the way I love Jaymie. She could do the worst shit in the world and I would still want her. Shit I accused her of cheating on me and she left. She just packed all of her shit one day and left. I never felt so much regret in my life.” I knew that he never forgave himself for pushing her out of his life.

“I don’t know how I’m gonna survive the party tomorrow. I have a lot of apologies I need to make.” I needed to talk to Jessi and definitely Nae. They’re the only two people who always help me. I should’ve listened to them from the beginning. I talked to him for a little longer before going back to the suite. It was quiet so I knew most of the girls were out. I went into my room and saw Cassie putting away her stuff.

“Cass?” I questioned. She turned and looked at me.

“Hey Nic. Jessi wanted to switch rooms after everything,” she trailed off.

“She hates me doesn’t she?” I plopped down on the bed.

“I just think she’s hurt. Give her time and let everyone calm down. There’s so much tension but everyone agreed to try and keep it together for tomorrow.”

“All the secrets came out but there’s still one I’m waiting on.” I eyed her. She sighed and plopped down next to me.

“Go ahead and ask.” She already knew what I wanted to ask.

“Where’s Kyle? And I don’t want you lying to me.”

“He’s in Colorado,” she said simply.

“Isn’t he gonna be here for their birthday?” I raised a brow.

“He’s not invited. I’m going through a divorce Nic. We’re done with each other,” she finally admitted.

“What happened?” I turned and looked at her.

“Shad happened. He always fucks up shit without even trying. Kyle hates Shad, that’s obvious. He couldn’t stand hearing Alexis and Brayden talking about him and always wanting to go to his house. He felt like they liked him more, which was so childish. He always would pick a fight with me about Shad and then he gave me an ultimatum. He told me it was either him or Shad. He made me choose between having him as a husband and keeping Shad as their father,” she explained.

“So you choose to keep Shad as their father.” I slowly let the information sink in.

“I took six years of Alexis’ life from him and I couldn’t try and take both of our kids from him. He’s such a good father and I,” she stopped talking and looked down.

“You don’t have to say it Cass. I already know.”

“I just need to get through tomorrow for the sake of the kids.”

Mylan

I walked out of my suite and went down to the beach with Nyra. “So you haven’t spoken to your mom since?” Nyra questioned.

“Nope and I don’t want to,” I shook my head. I heard that Dad already found out and I knew that this party was only gonna be drama. I felt my feet hit the sand and looked around the beach.

“My!” Alexis ran into my arms.

“Happy birthday Lex!” I bent down and kissed her.

“Where’s my present?” She grinned widely.

“I already told you that I’m giving it to you later. You’re just gonna have to wait.” I tapped her nose.

“Fine,” she huffed. I stood up straight and saw Dad eyeing me. I already knew what he was gonna say. I walked over to him and prepared myself for his speech.

“You better take your ass back inside. I know you ain’t wearing that.” He frowned at me.

“My you need a jacket!” Levi’s eyes got wide.

“We’re at the beach Dad. What else am I supposed to wear?” I sighed.

“Not that tiny bikini that’s for damn sure.”

“I have shorts on!”

“Just let her wear it Aubrey,” I heard Mom’s voice. Dad looked at her and walked away as if she wasn’t there. I eyed her and followed suit.

“Hi Mommy!” I heard Levi say as I walked far away from her. I felt an arm wrap around my waist and pull me to the side.

“I wanna show you something. I think it’ll cheer you up.” I looked up and was met with Ryan’s smile.

“Lead the way,” I grinned.

Drake

“Happy birthday to you!” Everyone stopped singing and waited for Alexis and Brayden to blow out their candles. They blew them out and everyone clapped. I grabbed a piece of cake and stood off to the side. I looked over everyone and I just sensed the tension. There was so much left unsaid with all of us.

“Damn,” I mumbled as I let my eyes travel to Nicki. All this shit is going on but that doesn’t take away the fact that she looked fine as hell in that bikini. I felt someone come up next to me and before I could turn, she took a piece of my cake. I looked down at her and shook my head with an amused smile. “You’re still a fat ass,” I joked.

“Oh shut up and be glad that I came,” Jaymie chuckled.

“Where’s Carson?” I looked around.

“I left him with my dad. You didn’t think he would let me come out here alone did you? He wanted to be close in case anything happened with Daven,” she shrugged.

“I’m glad he’s protective over you. It reminds me how I’m protective over Mylan.” I eyed her. She was laughing with Ryan as she put icing on his nose.

“Now you’re gonna get it!” He had a smile on his face.

“Sometimes you need to let go and just let her come to you when she needs you,” Jaymie said as she followed my eyes. I’ve always been protective over her but she was my baby girl. Maybe I have been a little more protective than necessary.

“You’re right.” I nodded and took bite of my cake. She eyed me and I gave her my fork.

“Thank you!” She smiled and took another piece.

“You could just get your own cake,” I reminded her.

“I really don’t wanna head that way,” she mumbled. I looked over and saw Daven glaring at Jaymie and me. I chuckled and looked back at her.

“He’s glaring at me like he got some type of claim over you.” She glanced at him and sighed.

“Your girl is too.” I looked at Nicki and she was talking to Cassie but she had her attention focused on me.

“Wanna really make them mad?” I asked her.

“What?” She raised a brow with a small smirk.

“You thinking what I’m thinking?” We gave each other knowing looks.

“We’re so childish but I feel like being petty today,” she grinned. I tossed my plate in the nearby trashcan before looking down at her.

“Come here.” I grabbed her by her waist and pulled her close.

“Are they looking?” She whispered. I glanced and saw both of them glaring even harder. I realized that there was a bigger audience than we originally thought. A lot of people were looking at us.

“Definitely,” I assured her. She gripped my shirt and pulled me into a kiss. I heard some people gasp and a few people curse. I pulled her closer and deepened the kiss. If they wanted to play dirty then two can play that game. We pulled apart and she shared an accomplished look with me.

“What the hell Aubrey!?” I heard Nicki yell. Jaymie turned and we saw a crowd of people around us.

“I don’t see what the problem is. I already said we could solve all of our problems and get a divorce,” I shrugged.

“So you automatically decide to go after that bitch!? We’re still married Aubrey!” She snapped.

“Now you wanna act like we’re married. I think it’s a little too late Onika.” I found it very amusing that when the roles turned, she acts like I’m a horrible person. I heard a chuckle and saw Jaymie talking to Nae. Nicki turned and cut her eyes at Nae.

“Just keep switching sides huh?” She crossed her arms. Nae rolled her eyes and Jaymie walked up and was face to face with Nicki. They’re both short as fuck but they’re the same height so there wasn’t any advantage.

“You keep calling Nae a bitch and talking about her switching side when you don’t even know why she left. You’re fucked up in so many different ways,” Jaymie shook her head.

“So you told this bitch why you left but no one else!?” Nicki peered over Jaymie’s shoulder.

“Backup Jaymie,” Nae told her. Jaymie backed up and Nae took her place.

“What are you gonna do? Are you gonna try and beat me up like you did Blake!?” Nicki straightened up.

“I couldn’t do that to you no matter how much I want to. You knew me better than anyone and I thought I knew you but I don’t. You’re fucked up Onika and I’m done. You can say I switched sides all you want. I guess I did because I’m obviously not on your side.” She backed away from her. “You’re pushing everyone away and I don’t even feel sorry for you at this point. You had it coming.” Nae turned and walked back into the hotel.

“She’s right,” Jessi went after Nae. Nicki looked around at everyone staring at her. I walked up to her and slipped my ring off my finger.

“Our marriage ain’t mean shit to you this past year so it don’t mean shit to me now.” I placed it in her hand and walked into the hotel.

“Aubrey!” I heard. I turned before I could reach the elevator and Mere pulled me into a hug. I couldn’t even feel emotion anymore when it came to Nicki. I felt like everything was said and done.

“I’m done with her. I can’t deal with this anymore,” I sighed.

“I know.”

Nicki

The crowd slowly disappeared but I felt stuck. Mylan looked at me and shook her head. She grabbed Ryan’s hand and walked off. “Jaymie!” Daven went over to her.

“Don’t touch me,” she backed up.

“Look can we talk?” He pleaded.

“Talking is unnecessary Daven. I didn’t come here for you,” she shook her head. He opened his mouth to speak but she cut him off. “You and Nicki honestly deserve each other. Now if you will excuse me, I have more important things to do than to be here.” She pushed passed him and went over by Nessa. I felt someone standing next to me so I turned.

“I’m not gonna yell at you. You just look like you can use someone on your side,” Cassie said. I felt tears fall down my face and she pulled me into a hug. “I can’t promise you that it’ll be okay but I promise that I’ll help you through this.”
