Chapter 34: My Everything

Blake’s P.O.V.

I woke up from my nap by the sound of my phone ringing. I swear if that’s Nae, I’m tossing my phone to the wall. “Hello?” I asked.

“Come over,” was all Mere said before hanging up. I stared at my phone in shock. I got up and grabbed my keys before I drove to her house.

~

I knocked on the door and she opened it. Her eyes were puffy and she looked exhausted. She let me in and walked towards the dining room. She sat down and I did the same. It was silent for a moment before she spoke.

“I listened to the voicemails,” she glanced at me. My heart started beating faster at the thought of her listening to them; I was an emotional wreck.

“Oh,” I was shocked because I didn’t expect her to. She seemed so done with me last night that I thought she would never talk to me again.

“You said a lot of shit,” she laughed.

“I know,” I let out a chuckle.

“But one thing stood out,” she locked eyes with me. I nodded knowing where this was going. “You really love me?” She asked me.

“Of course I do Mere; I wouldn’t lie about something like that,” I sighed.

“Why? Why now? We’ve tried a relationship and a certain someone got in the way. How do I know that won’t happen again?” She crossed her arms.

“Last time I wasn’t in love with you. I was trying to fall out of love with Nae. You can’t force yourself to fall out of love with someone. It just happens and that is what happened. Over time I started to love you and started to stop loving Nae. You bring out the best in me, you already know that,” I wiped a couple of tears.

“Do I?” She raised an eyebrow at me

“Yes you do,” I locked my eyes with her. She kept her straight face while observing me. She could read me like an open book so I knew that was exactly what she was doing. She finally looked back in my eyes before cracking a smile.

“Come here,” she stood and opened her arms. I got up hugged her; it felt nice to be in her arms again. “I love you too,” she whispered before kissing me.

Mylan’s P.O.V.

I quickly ran out the school when Robby signed me out for lunch. “Hey My,” he said once I jump into his arms.

“Hi Robby!” I smiled. He started to be a lot nicer; he said he was on some bad stuff and started to get better. He’s in rehab, whatever that is. I hopped in the car and jumped on Caiah. “Hi Caiah!” I hugged him.

“Hi My!” He hugged me back. I thought he was gone with Mommy but Robby said he didn’t. He also said that he was my twin. It was cool but I had to promise him that I won’t tell Mommy. I don’t know why but I wanted to hang out with Caiah. He took us to Buffalo Wild Wings and I grinned because I told him a while ago that this was my favorite place to eat. As we were eating I saw Cousin Blake walk in with Auntie Mere. They kissed and I looked away; kissing is nasty.

Blake’s P.O.V.

“I can’t stop saying that I love you,” I told Mere.

“I don’t ever want you to stop,” she smirked as we looked over the menu.

“So do you wanna split the wings?” I asked her but she was focused on something behind me.

“What’s wrong?” I looked at her in worry.

“Isn’t that Mylan?” She scrunched up her face. I turned around and was shocked. That was Mylan but that was also Nicki’s dad. They were with another little boy who looked like someone but that was impossible. I quickly got up and walked over.

“Cousin Blake!” My jumped on me. I picked her up and stared at Robert.

“Hello Blakelynn,” he smiled at me. He acted like everything was fine and this was another normal day activity.

“What are you doing with her?” I snapped at him. He knew Nicki was pissed when she found out that he picked her up the first time.

“Her brother and I wanted to have lunch with her,” he said softly. He went and had another kid when he was gone?

“Brother?” I looked at the kid as he turned around. I gasped as I observed him; I had to have been dreaming because this is not real.

“Hi, I’m Micaiah but everyone calls me Caiah,” he grinned wide.

“He’s supposed to be dead,” I turned and looked at Robert in shock.

“You okay babe?” Mere came up and wrapped her arms around me. “Hi, I’m Chimere,” She reached her hand out.

“I’m Robert and this is my son Caiah,” he introduced himself while shaking her hand. “Aren’t you just a cutie,” she told Caiah and he giggled.

“Mere, this is Mylan’s birth father,” I said cautiously.

“Birth father? Oh this isn’t good,” she looked at me. She knew everything that went on between him.

“This is Mylan’s brother Caiah who’s supposed to be dead. Is Nicki’s mom really dead or is she alive too?” I glared at him.

“She really did die. The hospital thought Caiah died because the car was severely damaged. They thought his body burned up like his mom but he didn’t. He escaped and they found him on the street. They called me and I took him. I didn’t know where my daughters went because no one told me so I kept Caiah. I didn’t want another one of my kids taken away from me,” he explained.

“You could have figured it out!” I raised my voice.

“I guess your mother told you. I don’t know if you and Paris are my daughters but while I’m here, we can get a DNA test someday,” he offered.

“I already know who my dad is and it isn’t you. Even if it’s not by blood,” I spat. I couldn’t stand the thought of having half of his blood running through my bones so I would rather stick with the 50% chance.

“You should still make sure. I’m about to leave, you can take My back to school if you want,” he spoke before My wiggled out of my arms and hugged them. They left and I looked at My.

“How long has he been coming to your school?” I asked her.

“A couple of months,” she shrugged. She looked nervous as if she just got in trouble but she kind of just did.

“Why didn’t you tell Mommy?” I looked at her.

“He made me promise not to. If I did then he said he wouldn’t be able to see me anymore,” she said softly.

“Let’s go home, you’re not going back to school,” I picked her up and we all left.

Nicki’s P.O.V.

Aubrey and I were cuddling on the couch as we watch some random movie. “I’m sorry if I made you feel uncomfortable hanging out with him that late,” I apologized.

“I’m still getting use to you hanging out with him. Just make sure you’re not with him when it’s dark and then I’ll be fine. I’m trust you,” he pecked my lips.

“I love how aggressive you were last night,” I smirked.

“We should argue more then,” he grinned as he leaned in to kiss me. He kissed me back before we heard the door being unlocked. Only Mere and Shad had a key and Shad was with Cassie. I saw Blake, Mere, and My walk in.

“Awww, are y’all together? I told you!” I smiled at them but they didn’t return it. “Wait why did you bring My; School doesn’t end for another two hours,” I scrunched my face up. They sat down and Blake put My on her lap.

“Tell mommy what has been going on,” she encouraged her.

“Robby has been picking me up at lunch time for months,” she spoke softly.

“Who’s Robby?” I asked confused.

“Robert,” Mere stated.

“What the hell!?” I stood up.

“That’s not all,” Blake looked at me.

“He brings my twin Caiah with him,” My mumbled.

“Your what?” I looked at her like she was crazy.

“My twin Caiah,” she looked up at me.

“Caiah is dead,” I said sternly. What kind of sick game was Robert playing? This is absolutely horrible.

“No he’s not Nic,” Blake sighed. They sat me down and told me what happened today.

“He’s going through rehab?” I asked My. He refused to go to rehab when mom asked him to so to hear that he actually did was shocking.

“He said he got so well that he only goes at certain hours,” My grinned.

“He hasn’t done anything to hurt you?” I locked eyes with her.

“Nope, he’s awesome,” she smiled. I sighed and let all of this soak in.

~

“You could have told me!” I yelled to Robert over the phone.

“I couldn’t find you! When I tried to tell you, you told me to stay away!” He yelled back.

“You shouldn’t have been going behind my back and picking her up,” I snapped.

“You wouldn’t let me see her any other way,” he sighed.

“Because you gave her a bruise,” I reminded him.

“I was going through thing and I went through rehab. I’m getting better and I miss having you and My in my life. Can you just come over for dinner and talk this all out. You can see Caiah and bring My,” he pleaded. I could hear the honesty over the phone.

“I want to go out to eat and I also want to bring a few people. I want my boyfriend, Blake, Paris, and Chimere to come also,” I explained. I was not gonna be up in his house alone with him.

“Deal, text me where and we can meet up later,” he perked up.

“Okay,” I said about to hang out.

“Bye Onika,” he said softly. I took a deep breath trying to contain myself and hold my tears in.

“Bye Dad,” I hung up and let some tears go. Blake was on my right as Mere was on my left.

“It’s gonna be okay,” Blake said while wiping my tears. I nodded trying to get myself together.

~

“I want a DNA test,” Paris snapped at Blake on the car ride to the restaurant.

“Well I don’t,” Blake snapped back. This is the first time they’re talking in while.

“You don’t have a right to decided that for me,” Paris glared at her.

“Oh I think I do, let’s go over the facts. I’m older and I didn’t keep the fact that I had a twin away from you!” Blake returned her glare. They look too much alike at this moment.

“Fine,” Paris huffed. We finally made is to the place and got out. We spotted Robert and a little boy at a table and we all went over. I stared at Caiah in shock.

“Caiah, that’s Nicki. You know your other sister,” he explained to him.

“Hi Nicki!” He ran and hugged me. I picked him up and hugged him close. “I’ve always wanted to see you again,” he smiled wide before I put him down. I wiped my tears before sitting down.

“Hello Paris and Blakelynn,” Robert acknowledged them.

“Hi,” Paris shot him a small smile. Blake was silent until Mere elbowed her.

“Hi,” she rolled her eyes.

“Hey Chimere and it’s Drake right?” He spoke to them.

“Hey,” Mere smiled.

“Yeah it’s Drake,” Aubrey said before asking what My wanted.

“Robby! This is my Daddy!” Mylan told him.

“I can see that,” he had a sad smile but it looks like he has accepted this. We ate and actually had a good time. Before we left, Robert pulled me aside. “I’m sorry for everything I’ve done. I didn’t know it would go as far as it did. I just want my kids back and I know you might never forgive me but at least I can try,” he shrugged. I sucked up my pride and hugged him.

“I’ve missed you dad,” I cried. I’ve missed having him in my life so much. He was a great father when he wasn’t on drugs so I hope he can stay off of them.

“I’ve missed you too Nika,” he kissed the top of my head.

“You promise to stay off drugs?” I held my pinkie out. He laughed before connecting his to mine.

“I promise,” he smiled. I hugged him one more time before hugging Caiah and promising him that I’ll see him soon. This might has been amazing.

~

I was in bed with Drake and My after we came back home. “I had so much fun,” My smiled.

“I did too baby,” I kissed her forehead.

“Your Dad ain’t so bad when he’s off drugs,” Aubrey said. I smiled and pecked his lips. Dad spoke to Aubrey privately and told him that he respected that he stepped up the plate and became My’s dad. They were cool now so that made things easier.

“I can’t believe he’s alive,” I cried. Aubrey pulled me close and smiled.

“I know,” he pecked my lips. My groaned at seeing us kiss. I laughed as Aubrey attacked her with kisses.

“Daddy stop!” She giggled. He stopped as we all slowly started to fall asleep. I thank god that this day happened; I really needed it.

Nae’s P.O.V.

“Give me the pills,” I told him.

“Give me the pussy,” he grinned. A smirk grew on my face; I knew his ass would ask me that.

“You were gonna get it anyway,” I laughed as I straddled him. He gave me some pills and I popped them.

“I love you babe,” he said as he kissed me.

“I love you too. Happy one year anniversary,” I smiled before taking off his shirt.

Seriously this story bores the living life out of me. I'm only continuing it because I've already written chapters all the way to 81. Compared to a different story that I'm writing, this is boring. I'm not even sure if I'm gonna put up the story I'm working on. I'm writing it more for fun than anything else AND since I'm feeling nice, here's a little preview for chapter 35. It's in Drake's P.O.V.

“Guys, this is Jaymie. Jaymie this is Nicki, Mylan, and Drake,” he introduced us. I eyed her and then something clicked in my head.

“Hi,” she smiled and shook Nicki’s hand. She got to me and forced a smile. I tried to hold in my laugh while returning the forced smile. She rolled her eyes before extending her hand.

“Hello,” she shook my hand before talking to My. We all sat around getting to know each other. It’s not like I need to get to know her, I know everything about her.

“So Jaymie, where are you from?” I smirked. I already knew the answer to that but I thought I should have a little fun. I wouldn’t mind messing with her for a bit.

“I’m from Toronto, Canada,” she cut her eyes at me. I knew that she wanted me to stop but I was just getting started.

“Babe, you’re from there,” Nicki told me. I nodded while staring at Jaymie. Jaymie gave me a look warning me to stop but I ignored her.

“How did you two meet?” I looked in between them. They looked like total opposites and he is not the kind of guy she’s into. She told me that she would never date a kid and that’s exactly who he is.

“I met Jaymie through family friends,” Daven explained. Family friends my ass, they had to have met through Kolbie.

“You have family?” I cocked my head. She cut her eyes at me and I just shot her an innocent look. She doesn’t have any family that’s still living besides her cousin.

“Well I’m gonna go to the bathroom,” she stood quickly and left. Looks like she couldn’t take the heat that well.

“What’s your problem?” Nicki hissed at me. Why is she getting mad at me? I didn’t do anything wrong in my opinion.

“I was just trying to get to know her,” I shrugged. Those questions were friendly enough, it’s not my fault that she stormed out.

“Bullshit, go over there and apologize to her,” Nicki pushed me up before going over to sit next to Daven. I got up and walked towards the bathroom. I didn’t know where it was but I got pulled into a room.

“What the hell?” I looked around and saw a very pissed off Jaymie. She raised her hand and slapped me hard. “What the fuck Jayms!?” I held my burning cheek.

Chapter 33: Almost Is Never Enough

Nicki’s P.O.V.

“Haha!” I laughed at my phone. He is too much by thinking that you can shut a baby up by doing that; dumbass.

“Texting Drake?” Blake asked as we were spread out across her bed. I shook my head no and laughed again. “Who is it?” She sat up.

“No one,” I spoke quickly but she took my phone out of my hand.

“Who’s Daven?” She looked at me. I knew it looked worse than it is but we were just talking.

“He’s actually my next door neighbor and he’s hilarious,” I smiled.

“You like him?” She stared at me curiously. Why can’t people believe that a guy and girl can just be friends?

“No, he has a girl and I have Aubrey. He’s my age and we all know what that means,” I trailed off. She knew exactly how to finish that statement.

“If he’s not at least two years older than me then forget it,” Blake finished for me.

“Exactly,” I smirked before texting Daven back.

Nicki: Just keeping her in your room will not make her stop crying

Daven: My sis shouldn’t have left me alone with her. I don’t change babies.

Nicki: Suck it up you little baby

Daven: I wish my girl was here. She’s good with Nyra

Nicki: She still in Canada?

Daven: Yeah but she should be out here by next week. I can’t wait for you to meet her. You’ll love her.

Nicki: Well if she’s anything like you told me she was, we’ll be great friends.

Daven: I guess I’ll go change her

Nicki: Bye Mr. Strange Name

Daven: Bye Ms. I Have a Man

“Have you spoken to Nae?” I looked over at Blake. They go through fight after fight and it was getting old real quick.

“She’s mad at me and I honestly don’t care. It seems like all we do is fight,” she groaned. She knew it as well as I do that their relationship was toxic. Someone is gonna end up hurt and I’ll be damned if it was Blake.

“What happened now?” I questioned.

“Well we were kissing yesterday and she wanted to go further but I wasn’t ready. She said she thought it was cute that I was pure. I laughed and said that Mere said the same thing and you know where that went,” she explained.

“Why did Mere say that?” I scrunched my face up. Did they do more than she was letting on or was it some kind of joke?

“I wanted to know how to have sex with a girl and we watched a sex tape,” she shrugged. My eyes bucked out as I looked at her in shock. “I was curious!” She defended herself. I let it go with a laugh.

“You know who brings out the best in you,” I mumbled.

“It’s Mere isn’t it?” she choked up. I nodded before she let a few tears fall.

“I knew it but I tried to push that thought back. I’ve loved Nae for so long but ever since we got together, she’s changed. She’s so possessive that I can barely breathe,” she pouted.

“When you two got together, she just woke up from almost killing herself. She is not in a good mindset and she needs help. A relationship is just making it worse and I guarantee you that you will be the one hurt in the end. I don’t want that for you. Nae’s my best friend but you are my cousin/possible sister,” I joked. She cracked a smile before sighing.

“I guess I’ll talk to her tonight at the party,” she spoke softly. I rubbed her back and shot her a smile.

~

I walked into the house and saw Daven, Kolbie, Nyra, James, and Drake in the living room. “Hi guys,” I said as I walked in. Daven shot me a smile and I returned it. “What’s going on?” I asked as I sat on Drake’s lap.

“These two need counseling,” he shook his head.

“I’on need no damn counseling to tell me that this bitch is crazy,” James snapped.

“Stop cursing in front of my daughter!” Kolbie snapped.

“So she’s your daughter now? You just don’t want her to call me daddy like you did the other day,” he smirked.

“So I’m gonna take her outside for some air,” Daven said while grabbing Nyra.

“You fucking bastard! Can you for two second actually act like an adult!? This is what I get for fucking with a young kid,” she glared at him.

“I’m not a kid!” He stomped his foot.

“I can’t tell,” she raised an eyebrow before leaving.

“Fuck that bitch man,” he mumbled before going upstairs.

“What the hell?” I turned to look at Aubrey. He shrugged before getting up.

~

Aubrey and I were cuddling on the bed after some good sex. When I tell you he’s blessed, I ain’t lying. He knows how to put it down. I straddled him and stared.

“Why did you throw Daven’s number?” I asked curiously. He couldn’t obviously jealous of a kid my age.

“You found it?” He groaned; he didn’t even try to hide it for me not to find it.

“He’s not into me. He has a girl and he said he doesn’t go for younger girls than him. We both like older lovers,” I explained.

“I still don’t like how close y’all got after knowing each other for one day,” he spoke. He had a point but we just connect like we’ve known each other for years.

“We just had this weird connection. I had that connection with Shad, Tyler, and many others,” I shrugged; it’s just weird.

“Who’s Tyler,” He sat up while keeping me on his lap. I held in my laugh as I saw how jealous he got.

“He’s my gay best friend,” I reassured him. Tyler is more interested in him more than me.

“Oh,” he chuckled.

“Stop being so fucking insecure. Let me do that okay?” I lifted his chin. He nodded before pecking my lips.  I smirked before grabbing him and slipping him into me.

“Damn Nic,” he moaned.

“Now you know who the fuck wears the pants in this relationship,” I said cockily. He smirked before switching and pounding into me.

“Shit Aubrey!” I yelled out.

“Where’s all that shit you were talking now?” He grinned before continuing.

Blake’s P.O.V.

“Here,” Nae said while handing me a drink. I smelled it and recognized it as alcohol.

“You know I don’t drink,” I told her. Drinking just messes with your mind and makes you weird. My mom taught me never to drink but then again I was pissed at her.

“You should, you’re always so tense. It’ll relax you,” she mumbled. I rolled my eyes before taking a sip. It didn’t taste that bad so I drunk some more. “That’s my baby,” she pecked my cheek before going to talk to people. Shit, this tasted so good that I got another. I kept drinking until Nae found me. “You’re so drunk,” she laughed.

“I’m good,” I said softly. “We need to talk,” I pulled her to the side. I think I found out how she brings out the worse in me; I don’t drink for a reason.

“What’s wrong?” She rubbed my cheek. This is gonna be so hard. I still had love for her but I fell out of love with her. She pushed me to that point so I can’t even feel bad.

“This isn’t working anymore,” I sighed. This is just getting way out of control and I can’t deal with all the stress and drama in my life.

“What isn’t?” She crossed her arms.

“Us, it’s just feels like we’re constantly fighting. We shouldn’t have rushed into this because you need help. You tried to kill yourself Nae and then jumped into a relationship with me,” I rambled.

“You wanted this,” she glared at me.

“Well I don’t want it anymore. This is wrecking our friendship and my mind. You’re bringing out the worst in me. I just want to be friends,” I said truthfully.

“Friends my ass, you just want that bitch,” she spat out.

“Don’t talk about her like that,” I snapped.

“Of course you stand up for her. You know what, fuck you Blake,” she cut her eyes and then walked away.

“I need a ride back home!” I shouted as she walked away.

“Call that bitch,” she spoke over her shoulder as she left. I sighed before doing exactly what she said.

Chimere’s P.O.V.

I woke up to the sound of my phone ringing. Who’s calling me at this time at night? “Yeah?” I answered without looking.

“Mere!” I heard Blake crying and that instantly woke me up.

“Blake, what’s wrong!?” I asked her.

“I’m drunk, it’s raining, and I have no ride. I don’t even know why I’m calling you,” she cried.

“Where are you?” I questioned. She told me the address before crying again. “Stay put, I’m coming,” I told her before hanging up.

~

I pulled up and saw Blake on the curb soaked. I ran out and grabbed her before putting her in my car. I wrapped her in a towel that I brought and started the car. She was shivering so I turned on the heat. “She’s right,” she mumbled.

“Who’s right?” I asked curiously.

“Nicki, she said you bring out the best in me. She’s right,” she whispered. I shook it off not getting my hopes up.

“You want me to drop you off at Jaznae’s?” I glanced at her.

“Anywhere but there,” she winced.

“Why?” I stopped at a red light and looked at her.

“We broke up and that’s why I was without a ride,” she explained.

“What did you do to make her that mad?” I questioned as I started driving again. I mean Jaznae is a hothead but I didn’t think Blake could piss her off.

“I told her that she brings out the worst in me. It sounds worse when I say it out loud,” she groaned.

“Yeah just a little bit,” I chuckled. That’s a horrible thing to say to someone in general so saying that to your girl is even worse.

“I fucked up,” she cried. I couldn’t focus on the road so I pulled over and turned to look at her.

“Hey, I’m sure she’ll forgive you. It was just a drunken mistake,” I encouraged her. She shouldn’t beat herself over something like this.

“That’s just it, I’m not that drunk. I can hold my liquor; I meant everything I said. When I said I fucked up, I wasn’t talking about with her,” she raised her head to look at me. I opened my mouth to say something but closed it.

“We should get you home,” I was about to start the car again but her hand stopped me. “Let me go Blakelynn,” I snapped and she quickly let go. I needed to drop her off as soon as possible and get far away from her.

~

I pulled up to her house and turned the car off. “Did you get my voicemails?” She asked softly.

“I didn’t listen to them; don’t see why I should,” I crossed my arms.

“Please just listen to them. At least the last one,” she wiped a tear before getting out. I waited until she got inside before leaving.

Nicki’s P.O.V.

“Stop!” I laughed at Daven as we were playing basketball outside of his house. I hit him before trying to shoot.

“You’re fouling all over the place,” he laughed at me before grabbing my waist pulling me from the basket. He grabbed the ball and made a shot.

“That’s because you’re too tall. Your height should be a foul itself,” I giggled. He laughed as we sat down on the stairs. I grabbed the water from beside me and tossed him one.

“Your boy got a problem with me,” that caught me off guard. Aubrey doesn’t necessarily have a problem with him; he has a problem with me and him together.

“What makes you think that?” I turned to him. Did Aubrey tell him that or something because I will kill him.

“He just don’t fuck with me. He thinks I’m gonna roll up on you but I see you like a sister with a big ass,” he joked.

“You always gotta ruin a moment,” I pushed him while laughing.

“He doesn’t have a problem with you,” I assured him.

“You sure bout that,” he pointed in the direction of my house. I turned and saw Aubrey glaring at him. Great, now I’m in trouble.

“I’ll see you later,” I sighed and gave him a hug.

“Yeah when you do, step your ball game up. You kinda suck,” he told me before walking away. I shook my head before walking towards Aubrey.

“What now?” I asked before heading inside.

“You know what time it is? Why are you out there this late with him?” He turned me around.

“We were playing night ball; I suck apparently,” I giggled.

“I don’t like you hanging out with him,” he told me.

“You hung out with Nebby when I told you not to. At least I didn’t fuck him,” I pushed past him and went upstairs. He followed me and locked the door; I knew I pressed a nerve but I didn’t really care at this point.

“Don’t you dare throw that in my face!” He snapped at me.

“Then don’t throw my friendship with Daven in my face!” I snapped back.

“He doesn’t wanna be friends with you. I was his age once and all he wants to do is fuck you,” he glared at me.

“At least I know how many women he’s been with! You’ve been with so many girls that you’ve lost count,” I pushed him away from me.

“So you wanna sleep with him!?” He pushed me against the wall.

“And if I do?” I challenged him.

“Shut the fuck up,” he grabbed me and threw me on the bed.

“Fuck me up then,” I smirked as he ripped my clothes off and his. He grabbed a condom and slammed into me. “Shit!” I moaned. Angry, rough sex with him is magic. I love making love with him but when he’s just fucking me like I’m some broad; it slightly turns me on. Shit, I might make him mad now just for the sex.

Chimere’s P.O.V.

I sat on my bed debating if I should listen to the voicemails. I had four from her and I just couldn’t bear to hear them before. I pressed play and sat my phone on my bed.

#1: “Mere, we need to talk. It’s a lot going on and I’m sorry how Nae was acting earlier. Can you just call me?”

#2: “I know that you see that I’m calling you. We really need to talk. I can’t just stop talking to you. We were so close and you can just drop me like that? Don’t you still care about me? Please just call me.”

#3: “I get that you’re avoiding me and I understand why. It’s my fault that you even felt like you had to quit. I should have just…I don’t know. I’m confused and I don’t know what to do about anything. I’m sorry for everything I’ve done but I need to talk to you. I just found out I'm a twin and I don’t know how to handle it. I’ve always went to you for advice and now I don’t have you. Please Mere, please just call me back.”

#4: “I get it, you’re mad at me,” she cried through the phone. “I deserve for you to be mad at me. I finally understand everything. You said you don’t regret kissing me and I don’t regret kissing you back. You got your answer and I just got confused. I thought it would be easier to stay with Nae but she’s slowly driving me insane. I want you Mere. I need to have you in my life and if being with you is the only option; I’ll take that any day.

I know that you’re mad at me but at least that means that you care. You still care about me right? It’s okay if you don’t, if I was in your shoes then I would stop caring. I don’t deserve you but I…I fucking love you Mere. I love you and I’m going crazy without seeing you or at least talking to you. I’m done with Nae, I’m breaking things off tonight. I just…I don’t know can you just call me back or not. I get it if you’re done with me but just know that I’m truly sorry.

I stared at my phone in shock before crying. For the first time in my life, I cried myself to sleep.

Mylan’s P.O.V.

I snuck downstairs and pulled a chair to the counter. I stood on it and grabbed the home phone. I punched in the number that I had to remember and let it ring. I waited a few second until I heard his voice. “Hey Mylan!” He said in the phone.

“Hi!” A smile graced my face by the sound of his voice.

“How are you?” He asked me.

“I’m good, I lost a tooth,” I finally lost the one that was bothering me while eating an apple.

“That’s great,” I know he wished that he lost his and I even tried to pull it for him. He just couldn’t get it out.

“I just wanna say goodnight,” I sighed. I never go to sleep without saying goodnight to him these days. It’s like I’m scared that one day he will just disappear.

“Goodnight Mylan,” he said softly.

“Goodnight Caiah,” I whispered before hanging up the phone.
